Ethan is 16. He was born in 2010, and he is a junior at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. This season his team won the AIA Division II Arizona State Championship.
The game started early. At two or three he rode along with his dad, and the bunkers were his first golf course. After-school camps with TGA came next, then PGA Junior League. Growing up in Oregon, he played U.S. Kids Golf and the Oregon Golf Association junior tour out of Rogue Valley Country Club, and he traveled the West Coast for Future Champions Golf and U.S. Kids events.
Just before freshman year he played the U.S. Kids World Championship. The family moved to Scottsdale for year-round golf. About 50 players tried out for the high school team. Ethan made it, and he has started on varsity ever since.
The results have piled up in the way junior golf actually works: many U.S. Kids local and two-day wins, many top-5 and top-10 finishes in the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, and AJGA starts earned by collecting Performance Stars at feeder events. At Rogue Valley he also won four chipping contests in a row, two years straight.
The win he talks about most is the 2025 Peaks Invitational at Continental Golf Club in Flagstaff, a field of more than 100. Day one was even par in 25 to 30 mph wind. On day two he went low in brutal wind, finished tied for first, and won the playoff. His team came back from seven strokes down and won by seven or eight.
He built this site, and the playbooks in the shop, because navigating junior golf is hard. Tours, tournaments, points, and the path into the top events are scattered. Beginners, competitive players, future college golfers, and their parents deserved one easy place to go.
